Development economist

Welcome to my academic website

I am a researcher affiliated with the Bordeaux School of Economics (BSE). I obtained my PhD from BSE in December 2025, under the supervision of Tanguy Bernard (BSE) and Denis Cogneau (PSE). My research interests focus on the economics of education in developing countries and colonial history, and in particular the choice of language of instruction.

I am currently based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. I am actively looking for a post-doc starting in September 2026 and based in Brussels and surroundings.
