Welcome to my academic website
I am a postdoctoral researcher at the University of Namur, working with Catherine Guirkinger. I obtained my PhD from the University of Bordeaux in December 2025, under the supervision of Tanguy Bernard (BSE) and Denis Cogneau (PSE). My research interests focus on the economics of education in developing countries and colonial history, and in particular the choice of language of instruction.
I was recently awarded the IPUMS International Student Research Award for my paper on bilingual education policies in Sub-Saharan Africa.
